Pumpkin Patch with Grammy & Papa

This past weekend we had Grammy & Papa come to visit!  We had such a fun weekend!  We went to the pumpkin patch and picked pumpkins, saw some animals, played on hay bails, and wenton a  fun ride!

On Sunday afternoon, we painted & decorated our pumpkins so we could display them on our front porch!

Somehow, I haven't blogged in almost 2 months.  I guess we have been so busy with fun stuff that I just haven't had a chance.

Ohio State Fair & Dublin Irish Festival

We spent a 2 of our weekends enjoying the Ohio State Fair & the Dublin Irish Festival!

We had so much fun at both!

Myrtle Beach 2013

This year, Bryson and I headed down to Myrtle Beach with Grandma & Aunt Amanda.  We went down because Amanda was in a wedding & did the brides hair & makeup in Ocean Isle, NC!  

 

 

Bryson LOVED the beach this year, he even took his naps on the beach which was great for me!

 

 We had fun nights out!   We got to hold a monkey and baby tiger and we went to the Alligator Adventure! 

It was a fun few days! But we sure missed Daddy and wished he was there with us!

Toddler Mischief

Bryson has been causing his fair share of mischief this summer.  From hiding my k-cups to putting dog food in my coffee...  

Meeting Baby Avery!

Our sweet new niece, Avery Carol Lewis was born in June 12, 2013.  She weighed in at 7lbs 1 oz.  and was 19 inches long!  

We had an opportunity to drive up and meet her a few weeks after she was born.  She sure is a pretty little girl, but know doubt she will be one tough cookie, what with having a big brother & 3 boy cousins!

Our Mini Summer Vacation

This past week, we headed down towards Cincinnati for a few days of fun!  We stayed at the Great Wolf Lodge and spent 2 afternoons at the water park!  Bryson LOVES the water slides and we were even told by one of the lifeguards to try to put him on one of the big kid ones (like really big ones) but it made Mommy too nervous!

We also took a morning to explore the Newport Aquarium!  Of course, it was a huge hit with Bryson!

On our last morning, we headed over to King's Island!  They have the world's largest animatronic dinosaur exhibit and as I'm sure you realized from our zoo posts, Bryson is a big fan of dinosaurs!  We also tried to do a few rides at kiddie land but Bryson was starting to get a bit under the weather so we decided to cut our losses after the first ride and long line!  It was still a fun morning though!
