Happy Birthday Holden!

A few Sundays ago, we drove up to Cleveland to celebrate our nephew Holden's 3rd birthday! What a fun afternoon we had! He and Bryson are starting to play so well together!

Snow Days

This winter we have had much more snow than the last few! Bryson loves it and doesn't want to come back in even once his little nose and cheeks are red & cold!

Pantry re-org!

Jeff and I have decided that 2013 is gonna be the year of organization for us! Our pantry was in major need of some serious work! It is so deep and we could never find what we thought we had! I actually had 4 opened boxes of lasagna noodles shoved in the back!
Below is the before & after! Needless to say we are so pleased with the way it turned out and now we can actually see what we have in there!

A Laundry Room Makeover

In December, we decided that our laundry room would be getting a much needed face lift!  We needed more space and something that would be a bit more functional!
We are so pleased with the final product!
A huge thanks to Organized Home Remodeling for their wonderful work!
Their ideas, work team, and everything else were top class!

Christmas Morning

This year, we had the opportunity to wake up at home on Christmas morning.  My parents, Angie & Chris, & Amanda were here to enjoy it with us!
Santa definitely came!

Bryson was so excited and I think a bit confused to see all the new toys & gifts, he didn't know where to start!

It was such a fun filled morning!  We enjoyed breakfast together and then I made homemade sauce and meatballs for dinner!
Bryson played all day (minus his nap time of course).

It was such a wonderful Christmas!  Bryson was filled with so much wonder and excitement!  It's hard to believe next year could be more fun than this one was but I am sure it will be!

Christmas Family Parties

On the Saturday before Christmas, we headed to Youngstown to celebrate Christmas with our families.
Grammy & Papa with all the grandkids!

We had so much fun celebrating with Jeff's family.  Bryson loved all of his presents and had fun trying to steal Holden's as well.  They are still tolerating each other but I think they will be fast friends in about a year when Bryson is a bit older.
We were so grateful to get to spend some time with Aunt Georgie and Uncle Dick, who were in town visiting from New Jersey!   They are always so enjoyable and we wish we got a chance to see them more than what we do.

The following day we went over to my parents for the BIG family Christmas party.  This year the theme was "ugly Christmas sweater party".  Everyone had so much fun with it!
Cousins!

Bryson got his most favorite Christmas toy at this party.  His Great Grandma Curtis bought him his beloved Woody from Toy Story!

We also played flip cup!  I played with water because I am WAY too old to hang with the young kids when it comes to drinking games but it was so much fun!

This was Bryson on the way back to Columbus!  Him and his best pal!

Ear Tubes & Christmas Cookies

Yesterday, Bryson had ear tubes put in his ears!  We have been battling ear infections and residual fluid and knew it was time to get it taken care.  Grandma came down to be here with us and help our.  I was a little nervous about it but everything went great.  It helps when you know you are in good hands too, we have a wonderful ENT!

Bryson gave us some laughs once his versed kicked in!  He was a little loopy!

He had a little bit of a hard time once he woke up from the anethesia, lots of crying!  But once we got him home he snuggled with me and that did the trick.

He was feeling so much better after his nap so we decided, with the help of Grandma, to make sugar cut-out cookies.  (I think we had more fun than he did).

I think they are the most beautiful sugar cookies I have ever seen! I can't wait to set them out for Santa to eat!
