The little moments...

The little moments are so precious to me!
Whether its catching Bryson smiling as he plays by himself
or a quiet moment enjoying time with his daddy or just being a silly little goose (a nickname I like to call him)!
These are the moments that I cherish more than any other!  It's when I realize what a wonderful little boy he is becoming and how blessed I am too be able to be a stay at home mom!

Cosi

On Bryson's actual birthday we wanted to do something special with him, so we decided to take him to Cosi!  They have a great area called "Little Kidspace" that is intended for infants through preschoolers!
Bryson had a total blast!  He was so intrigued by everything!  We will be going back for sure!

It was such a wonderful family day!

Easter Bunny Lane & Easter

The weekend before Easter, we decide to head to Youngstown for a quick visit and take Bryson to
Easter Bunny Lane at Kraynaks! (Our parents took us both there.)
Bryson had a blast looking at the exhibits at Easter Bunny Lane but he wasn't too sure how to feel about the Easter Bunny!

On Easter Sunday, we got up and got ready for church.  After church, Bryson got his Easter basket from the Easter Bunny.  He seemed to be pretty unimpressed!
We then headed over to our friends, the Young's, for a wonderful Easter dinner!  Our friends the Foerschler's joined us and we had a wonderful evening with good food and great conversation.
How lucky we all are to have wonderful friends to spend holidays with when we can't be with our families!

Happy 1st Birthday Bryson!

One year ago today, at 10:39 pm, God blessed us with the most incredible gift!
It is so hard to believe that we are celebrating Bryson's 1st birthday already!
He is such a happy and sweet little boy with tons of energy and a lot of spunk!
His smile and laugh are so infectious!
Watching home grow and learn all kinds of new things have given us the greatest joy!
He already makes us so proud!

We love you so much Bryson!  Happy 1st Birthday!

Bryson's 1st Haircut

While we were in Disney, Bryson got his first haircut!  We went to the Harmony Barber Shop in the Magic Kingdom!  We weren't sure what to expect, thinking maybe he would cry or not want to sit in the chair, but of course, he was all smiles and an absolute angel!  Even the clippers didn't phase him!

After he was all done with the haircut, he got his first official set of Mickey Mouse ears that say "First Haircut" on the back and a certificate of bravery!  We also took home his hair clippings (surprisingly a lot) for a keepsake!

Walt Disney World: Day 5,6, & 7

On Tuesday, we headed over Disney's Animal Kingdom.  We only spent about 1/2 the day their but we had a ton of fun!  We went on the safari ride and met some of the characters from Winnie the Pooh!
Bryson also had a chance to play in their giant sandbox!  At first he examined it, then he played with it, and finally he tried to eat it, which is when we decided to call it quits!

On our final day of vacation, we thought we would spend the morning at downtown disney for a little lunch and shopping, where Bryson had a chance to ride a carousel for the first time!
After that, we headed back to the hotel for Bryson's first swim!  He absolutely LOVED the water!
That evening we went over to a neighboring hotel for a luau!  Unfortunately, the show got cancel due to a bad storm that came in but we still got to enjoy dinner and our last night of vacation together!

Unfortunately,  on Thursday, it was time for us to pack up and head back to Ohio!  By then, I had realized that Bryson was beginning to get sick, so the flight home wasn't as smooth as the way there!
We were so blessed to be able to have such a wonderful first vacation with Bryson!  Watching him enjoy everything so much gave us nothing but pure joy and we had more fun than we could have ever imagined!
