Bryson's First Christmas!

On Christmas Eve, we drove into Youngstown to enjoy the holiday with our families!  

We started at my mom's with a little get together before church!  Church was moved up to 4pm which worked perfect with Bryson's bedtime so we were able to go!

 After church, we went back to my mom's to open our traditional Christmas PJ's (even Bryson got a pair).   Then we were off to bed!  Angie and Chris even spent the night too!

On Christmas morning we woke up bright and early to see what Santa brought us!  Bryson loved each of his presents and was so excited to see every one!  His favorite present was a bucket, yes a bucket.  (A cute little gift from Aunt Gigi, a bucket stuffed with filled snowballs for a snowball fight)!  He also enjoyed all the wrapping paper!

After brunch, we headed over to Jeff's mom for a super fun day!  Jeff's Aunt Georgie, Uncle Dick and cousins Brad and Rachel made it in from New Jersey!  It was wonderful to see them and have them meet Bryson!  

 It was a wonderful and blessed Christmas!

Bryson 1st Visit with Santa

Today, Jeff and I took Bryson to see Santa for the first time!

It goes without saying that it wasn't much of success!  Bryson was terrified of him!  The binkie helped for a few minutes until he turned and looked at him again then the tears returned!

Oh well, maybe next year will be better!!!

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

We had a super fun Thanksgiving!  On the Saturday before Thanksgiving we traveled to celebrate and have a delicious Thanksgiving dinner with Jeff's family! And then on Sunday had brunch with my parents and grandparents.  

On Thanksgiving, my sister Angie and her husband Chris came down to celebrate with Bryson and I.  (Jeff had to work).  Since we had both already had a Thanksgiving dinner, Chris made us his fabulous pasta and meatballs instead!  

It was delicious!

I know we sure have a lot to be thankful for!!!

7 months...

 It is hard to believe that Bryson is already 7 months old...

I truly don't know where the time went but I know we have enjoyed every single minute of it!

He is getting so big and is on the road to crawling, something we are both excited about but not ready for either!!!

It's been a minute...

Yes, it has been a while since my last post!  

Life with an almost 6 month old keeps us pretty busy but we love it!  Bryson is growing so fast, he is sitting up mostly all by himself and (for the most part) is sleeping through the night. 

We are so happy fall has arrived!  With it brings football, halloween, and other fun things.  Bryson gets dressed up every Saturday to cheer on the Buckeyes and every Sunday to cheer on the Browns. (And yes, the Browns have actually one a few).  We got Bryson's halloween costume and it is beyond cute!  I will keep you all in suspense but I promise to post pics as soon I take them!

Trip to the Zoo!!!

Jeff is on vacation this week, so we decided to take Bryson to the zoo!  

The weather was just perfect today so we headed over that way after his mid-day nap!

First, we headed over to the aquarium!  Bryson loved watching all the fish swim around!  He was so mesmerized!

Then, we headed over to the manatee exhibit!  He got to watch one of them swimming around, along with some more fishies!  But he REALLY loved the sea turtle that kept swimming in front of us!

 Once we started to walk a bit to see some more animals, Bryson decided it was a good time for his afternoon nap and slept the rest of our time there!

It was a wonderful family outing!

4 Months Already...

It is hard to believe that our little boy is already 4 months!!!  

He is getting so big (but is a peanut).

14 lbs. 8 oz. (39th percentile)

24 1/2 in. (31st percentile)

He is turning into the sweetest boy with a wonderful personality!!!  

He is always free with the smiles and happy squeals and has the cutest giggle!!!

Even his little baby tantrums are cute!!!

He makes us laugh everyday...

We love him so much!!!

Bryson's Baptism

On Saturday, July 2nd, our sweet boy was baptized at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church!

It was a wonderful afternoon and so many of our friends and family came to celebrate with us!  

Afterwards, we had a dinner reception at Vittoria Ristorante in Powell!!!

It was a wonderful evening and we are so blessed to have shared it so many of our closest family & friends!
